MAPP Testing was suspended for Summer 08 but resumes for Fall 08.
The test dates for the Fall Semester will be added to the web page as soon as they are available
Summary
All Troy University students are required to take the Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress (MAPP) test to assess their General Studies knowledge after completion of 60 semester credit hours.
Details
During Fall Semester 2007, the testing procedures for all Troy students changed. Instead of completing an assessment of one's General Studies knowledge as part of the Senior Exit Exam, all students are now required to take the MAPP exam after they have completed 60 semester hours of coursework.
The Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress test (MAPP) composed by Educational Testing Services of Princeton, NJ, is a nationally normed, two-hour test now used by the University to assess our General Studies courses. For more information on the MAPP test, go to www.ets.org/mapp
- To view sample MAPP test questions, go to www.ets.org/mapp and click the “Sample Questions” tab.
