Organization and Administration
The Graduate School of the TROY-Dothan Campus is under the general supervision of the Graduate Council. The Council is organized to provide for a systematic examination, approval and continuous evaluation of all curricular offerings and degree programs as formulated by the Graduate Council. Membership in the Council is constituted as follows: President, TROY-Dothan Campus, ex officio; Executive Vice President; Deans of the Graduate Programs (Arts and Sciences, Business, Education); Elected members from the graduate faculty; Non-voting members (Director of University Library, Academic Records representative, Director of Student Services).
The dean of each school or college is charged with the responsibility of: coordinating the graduate program; supervising the screening and acceptance of applicants to the graduate school; establishing and administering all graduate program procedures; supervising the evaluations of the graduate programs; determining when students have met all graduation requirements; supervising the review of individual graduate student requests or appeals by designated School Faculty Admissions Committees.
