Ms. Bennett is an Assistant Professor. She received her B.A. from Auburn University and her masters in psychology from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Ms. Bennett is a licensed mental health professional with over 20 years of community mental health counseling experience. In addition to teaching undergraduate psychology courses, Ms. Bennett coordinates the College of Education’s testing center.

Dr. Davis is an Associate Professor of Psychology, received his B. A. and M. A. from Mississippi State University, and his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Mississippi. Dr. Davis is the Program Director for Dothan's undergraduate psychology program.

Dr. Mayer is an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Psychology. She been teaching with Troy University since 1986 off and on as an adjunct. Her career spans 25 years in public school systems in Georgia and Alabama as school counselor, an English teacher and a French teacher. Currently, she is teaching full time in the College of Education at Troy University. Her husband works at Ft. Rucker, but he also serves as a ministry team at Living Waters Counseling in Headland, Alabama. She has a long history with Troy University Dothan, both as student and teacher. Troy University Dothan has become quite a family affair with both her daughters and a son-in-law graduating from Troy University Dothan from the College of Education.

Dr. Tucker is an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Psychology and is an Associate Licensed Counselor, a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Psychologist. He received a B.A. degree in Psychology at Delta State University, a M.S. in Counseling Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Indiana State University. He is the Program Director for the Community Counseling Program in the College of Education at Troy University. He has taught at the graduate level in counseling at Indiana State University and Eastern Illinois University.

Dr. Koyama is an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Psychology. She received a B.A. in social relations at Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Japan, and a M.A. in Anthropology at the University of Florida and in Community/Career Counseling at the University of Maryland, College Park. She earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), Northern Virginia Center. Due to her experience as an international student in the U.S., she brings cross-cultural perspectives. Her research interests include career counseling and development, counseling supervision and professional development, substance abuse counseling, multiculturalism and globalization in counseling. She is the program director for the substance abuse and the corrections counseling programs.

Dr. Peden is an Assistant Professor of Counseling and Psychology. She received a B.S. degree in Psychology and a M.S. degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. She received a Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology at Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at The Bradley Center of St. Francis in Columbus, Georgia. She completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship with The Dating Violence Prevention Project, Women Against Abuse and MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Troy, Dr. Peden brings with her thirteen years of diverse field experience in counseling and psychology. She is the Program Director for the Psychology Technician and the Rehabilitation Counseling Programs in the College of Education.
