Comprehensive Exam
Students will be taking a standardized exam, The CPCE, a multiple choice exam that covers the eight (8) CACREP areas of study for counselors. If a student fails to pass with a score of 82, then the student then has two more chances to pass this exam. In addition to The CPCE, a student will be given a case study to write up two weeks after the administration of The CPCE. The case study comes from a pool of case studies developed by the joint campus department of Counseling and Psychology and are graded with by a rubric.
