President's Scholarships for undergraduate students
There are TEN $500 scholarships. Our chapter may nominate ONE applicant.
To be eligible, applicants must:
be an active member of Kappa Delta Pi in good standing
complete an application, signed by our Counselor and President.
Application includes official transcript, 500 word essay written by the applicant, a statement from the Counselor noting activities and participation of the applicant in the Chapter.

Harold D. Drummond Scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in Elementary Education
Four scholarships, $500-$1000 each. Our chapter may nominate ONE applicant.
To be eligible, applicants must:
be a member in good standing of a Kappa Delta Pi chapter
submit an application
Application materials include signature from Counselor or President, official transcript, original essay written by the applicant, statement of need for financial support, statement from Counselor noting activities and participation of the applicant.

Counselor's Scholarships for graduate students
Five scholarships, $1000 each. Our chapter may nominate ONE applicant.
To be eligible, applicants must:
be a member in good standing of a Kappa Delta Pi chapter
have a bachelor's degree and be formally admitted to a graduate program at a recognized institution or college of education
submit an application
Application materials include signature from Counselor or President, official transcript, original essay written by the applicant, statement from Counselor noting activities and participation of the applicant.

J. Jay Hostetler Student Teacher Scholarship
Two scholarships, $500 each. Our chapter may nominate ONE applicant.
To be eligible, applicants must:
be a member in good standing of a Kappa Delta Pi chapter
submit an application
Application must be typed. Necessary materials include signature from Counselor or President, official transcript, original essay written by the applicant, statement from Counselor noting activities and participation of the applicant, and a list of activities, leadership positions and honors and a list of community activities including employment and other responsibilities.

Laureate Doctoral Scholarships
- Hollis L. Caswell Scholarship in Curriculum and Instruction ($4,000)
- Paul R. Hanna Scholarship in Childhood Education ($1,500)
- Henry H. Hill Scholarship in Educational Administration and Supervision ($1,500)
- Ralph W. Tyler Scholarship in Educational Evaluation and Technology ($1,000)
- Gerald H. Read Scholarship in International and Comparative Education ($2,000)
- O.L. Davis Jr. Scholarship in Curriculum and Instruction ($1,500)
- Deborah Partridge Wolfe Scholarship in Education ($1,500)
- Our chapter may nominate ONE applicant for each scholarship.
To be eligible, applicants must:

be a member in good standing of a Kappa Delta Pi chapter
have already been admitted for doctoral level study at a recognized graduate school or college of education
have had successful experience in teaching or another professional educational position
be recommended by a faculty member or chair in the applicant's major department
give evidence of ability to write clear, correct English
submit an application
