Kappa Delta Pi strives to recognize excellence in education, and therefore elects those to membership who exhibit the ideals of scholarship, high personal standards, and promise in teaching and allied professions.
To become a member of the Sigma Eta Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, you must:
1. Attend the TROY-Dothan Campus for at least one semester, and be an undergraduate or graduate majoring in earlychildhood, elementary, special education, school counseling, educational
administration, or secondary education. All undergraduate students and all alternative class A students must be admitted to TEP prior to initiation.
2. Possess a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher as an undergraduate student or 3.25 as a graduate student.
3. Participate in an initiation, and or 10 participation points per semester until graduation
4. Possess worthy educational ideals and desirable personal qualities.
