Start of School Experience

Start of School Experience (S.O.S)

There will be no SOS for fall 2007. Waived due to university and K-12 schools starting dates overlap.

The student must complete a "Start of School" experience (S.O.S) in a public school preferably in the fall of the year prior to the internship experience. S.O.S shall include a minimum of five days of full-time structured and supervised field experience. Students must make application for the S.O.S experience. For further information, contact the Professional Internship Office.

These hours do not count as part of the 50 school hours.
