Examples of Professional Laboratory Experiences
School Related Activities The school activities will be arranged through classes you take. You will be assigned specific activities as a part of the courses you take.
Community Activities You will be responsible for earning these hours through activities you select to volunteer your time and services. Opportunities do exist in campus organizations to earn hours in this category. Hours cannot be earned as a part of your employment.
NOTE: You must earn hours in at least two different activities.
The activities are volunteer activities; you cannot be paid for participating in them.
- Judging contests
- Scouting activities
- Life guarding
- Teaching Sunday School or leading a church youth group
- (No more than half can be church-related activities.)
- Summer camps
- Playground recreational activities
- Working with speech and drama activities
- Playing piano for a group of senior citizens
- Working with arts and crafts activities
