WELCOME TO THE CREATIVE WRITING CLUB

Do you like to write?  If so, have you been looking for a great outlet to gather with fellow like-minded scribblers and share your works, ideas and basically keep the old writer's battery fully charged?

Do you like to leave the writing to others and just sit back and enjoy a good piece of literature read aloud in an atmosphere of friendly fellowship and inspired encouragement?

Do you just like to have an excuse to get out on a Friday afternoon for a little personal cultivation and literary edification that does not involve spending a lot of money?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, or know of someone who fits this description perfectly, we have the solution for you!

Why not try out the Troy University Creative Writing Club on the Dothan Campus and see if it is what you have been looking for!  The club is open to any and all interested souls whether they are members of the TROY family or not and whether they are particularly polished writers or not.  Teachers...tell your students!  Tell your friends!  Tell everyone, but do don't forget to visit yourself!

Come and try a meeting out and share a short piece of your work-poem, short story or other brief work of prose-or just listen in and see if it feels comfortable before you are ready to share.  It is a great opportunity to get an honest reaction about your work from fellow writers who most certainly know how it feels to wonder if a title or a particular passage of a work-in-progress sounds right.

If you should want to share and suddenly find yourself unusually shy, do not worry!  One of our talented tongued regulars will be happy to read your piece for you!  Sold yet?
