ACCESS. Microsoft Access is an interactive relational database management system for Windows that puts the power to organize, find, and present information in your hands. Experience with Windows is desired for Level I. Level II continues with more advanced features. Level III is designed to troubleshoot and use Access as an analytical tool. Features include customizing reports with summary tools, use of action queries to change data in tables, and customizing switchboards to accommodate all users in a database.
ASSEMBLE YOUR OWN COMPUTER. This course continues from "Build Your Own Computer" and expands to include assembling and testing the computer, installing the operating system, loading device drivers, and installing critical updates during the class.
BUILDING YOUR OWN COMPUTER. This class will teach background information on selecting components required for assembling your own personal computer. Topics include selecting the motherboard, identifying the best processor, hard drive, optical drive and memory. Students will have the opportunity to conduct online research to aid in the selection process. Assembly techniques and installation will be discussed.
DIGITAL CAMERA. Learn how to use your digital camera or learn which type will meet your needs before you purchase a new camera.
EXCEL. A powerful spreadsheet program. In Level I, the student will learn to enter and format data, cut, copy and paste data, find and replace data, enter formulas and print worksheets. Level II continues with formulas, named ranges, creating and editing lists, sorting, filtering, subtotals, pivot tables and charts. Level III introduces tools to analyze data in worksheets, financial functions to create data tables and other features.
PEACHTREE. Designed to keep track of business functions such as accounts payable/receivables and payroll. Course includes purchase orders, vendor invoices, inventories, quotes and credit memos.
POWERPOINT. A complete presentation graphics program that creates professional presentations. Learn to outline, draw, use graphs and clip art to design overhead presentation and animated computer presentations. Students must have experience working with Windows.
QUICKBOOKS. Instructions on how to use your computer for invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, checking accounts, and cashflows. Quickbooks is very easy for non-accounting people. Can be used for personal and business records.
WORD I. Learn word processing to create professional documents. Participants learn how to create letters, reports, and bulletins using features such as clip art, spell check, and tables.

computer user who wishes to learn more about common maintenance, repair, and
upgrade issues. CompTIAs A+ core hardware certification exam objectives will
also be covered. Course fee: $400.
A+ Operating Systems. For the advanced PC user or technician, will provide preparation for CompTIAs A+ COST exam. Course fee: $400.
Certified Internet Webmaster. Provides basic
hands-on knowledge that an internet professional should understand and use.
This is a nationally recognized program sponsored by Prosoft. Course fee:
$1,200.
Fiber Optic Technicians Certification. Approved
FOA course cover the basics of fiber optic theory, networks, components,
testing, installation, and standards. Course fee: $1,200.
