At the Sorrell College of Business we
believe that a quality business education begins with a solid understanding of
the world in which businesses operate. In today's competitive job
environment, small firms and large companies alike need graduates who can offer
broad and creative approaches to problem solving. Your business education
will emphasize technical learning and practical application. Two of the
major goals of business study are the development of intellectual curiosity and
the creative capacity for independent thought and action.
The Sorrell College of Business programs are designed to prepare you for
leadership in the free enterprise system by emphasizing a combination of breadth
and depth in business education. Breadth is enhanced by the completion of
a core business curriculum which teaches a common body of knowledge for all
business majors. Depth is achieved by a career specialization in one of the nine
major areas of business study.
The Sorrell College of Business at the TROY-Dothan Campus is nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
