Biographical Sketch    Ms. McDaniel contributed these images to the AWHC as part of the Landmark Foundation Houston Co. Centennial Committee effort to publish a pictorial history of Houston Co., AL, as part of the Arkadia Press "Images of America" series.

She supplied these images for digitization by Dr. Martin Olliff at the Community Photograph Day in Ashford, AL, May 22, 2003.

Scope / Content     2 digitized photographs:  1)  Dupree Schoolhouse in Houston Co., AL, abandoned, photographed in ca. 1940s or 1950s;  2) Grady and Coley McDaniel posing in front of the McDaniel Brothers Clothing and Shoe store on Broadway in Ashford, AL, ca. 1910s.
