Ref No. PH 018-03-002-003: Joseph Howell Watson.  Served in the 33rd Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company I, during the Civil War.  Later, he served as sheriff of Enterprise, Alabama.  Joseph was grandfather of Thomas Asa (Ace) Watson and twin brother Joseph Masa (Mace) Watson.  "Ace" was Jerrie Bass's paternal grandfather.
