DOTHAN – Enjoy a great round of golf, while raising support for Troy
University scholarships. Thursday, September 27, the Wiregrass Chapter
of the Alumni Association will host the
2007 Troy University Jackson Thornton
Invitational Golf Tournament presented by CenturyTel.
The 4-person scramble gets underway at noon
at Highland Oaks in Dothan with a shotgun start. Registration begins at
9 a.m. the morning of the tournament, and lunch will be served at 11
a.m. The top four teams take home gift certificates and trophies.
Participants will also receive Troy University golf shirts and door
prizes.
This year’s honorary golf chair is
Charles Nailen, KFC/Taco Bell franchise owner and member of the Troy
University Board of Trustees. Golf co-chairs are Gayla White and Shannon
Collins.
