Mike Durant, author of the best seller In the Company of Heroes, poses for a photo with several members of the Troy University Wiregrass Math & Science Consortium. During a recent visit to the Dothan Campus, the former black hawk pilot spoke to area teachers about his days as a POW in Somalia. Durant’s story appeared on the big screen in the movie Black Hawk Down, which is based on the book by Mark Bowden.
