Troy University Library to Present Fall Film Series

DOTHAN – Film legends including Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman will come to life on the big screen at Troy University this fall, as the TROY Library presents its annual Fall Film Series. Monday nights from September through December, the Library will air classic films in Sony Hall, which is located in the Library-Technology Building on the Dothan Campus. Movies begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free, and the public is invited to attend. For more information, contact Chris Shaffer at (334) 983-6556, ext. 1-320.

September 24 – “The Philadelphia Story” (1940), starring Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart
October 8 – “Casablanca” (1942), featuring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman
October 22 – “Notorious” (1946), starring Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman and Claude Rains
October 29 – “The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance” (1962), with John Wayne, James Stewart and Lee Marvin
November 5 – “Rear Window” (1954), with James Stewart and Grace Kelly
December 10 – “It Happened One Night” (1934), starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert
