Troy University celebrates the 90^th birthday of Dr. Burton Wright (front – center), visiting professor of sociology. Dothan Campus faculty and staff members recently honored Dr. Wright with a party complete with a cake and 90 candles. His wife of 65 years, Marie (front – right), attended the celebration. His students also threw a separate birthday bash. Dr. Wright joined the faculty of the Troy University College of Arts & Sciences in 1991. He continues to teach sociology and anthropology classes full-time on the Dothan Campus.
