DOTHAN – Troy University will host a Teachers’ Fair Thursday, March 15 from 9
a.m. until 11 a.m. on the Dothan Campus. Education majors, interns and area
teachers seeking employment are encouraged to attend the recruiting fair, which
will be held in the Library/Technology Building.
Non-education majors interested in becoming
teachers are also invited to attend, according to Keith Seagle,
counseling and career services director.
“Seniors or graduates with majors other
than education who are interested in becoming teachers should attend the
Teachers’ Fair,” Seagle said. “Alabama, Florida, Georgia and most other
states have programs where you can teach temporarily while working
toward your credentials.”
Attendance is free to the public. School
system representatives may contact Joanne Krist at (334) 983-6556, ext.
1-223, or at
dothancareer@troy.edu to register. |
