Tabitha Burgess
of Newton is the recipient of the Douglas C. Patterson
Leadership Scholarship. Burgess plans to pursue a Master of
Science in Education Degree in School Counseling from Troy
University. The Patterson Scholarship is a one-year scholarship
that pays 9 hours of graduate tuition at the Dothan Campus. To
qualify, a graduate student must submit a statement expressing
the history of their commitment to leadership. The scholarship
is available to a first-time and full-time graduate student who
is admitted into the College of Education.
Erin Thomley
of Newton is the recipient of the Trojan Pride Scholarship.
Thomley plans to major in psychology at Troy University. The
Trojan Pride Scholarship is a tuition waiver scholarship
available at the Dothan Campus to an incoming freshman who has
no prior college credit. To qualify, students must demonstrate
leadership potential and a history of academic excellence.
