DOTHAN –  During Reading is Fun Day, 5-year-old Luke Smithart of Geneva colors with Troy University Education Majors Kayla Carr (left) of Dothan and Natalie McCord of Cottonwood. Members of Kappa Delta Pi, an international education honor society, sponsored the recent event for children at Wiregrass Commons Mall. 

 

 

Troy University Education Major Victoria Snellgrove of Ozark helps 10-year-old Shelby Smithart of Geneva construct a kite during Reading is Fun Day. Snellgrove and other members of Kappa Delta Pi shared their love of reading on a recent Saturday.

 

 

 

During Reading is Fun Day, 4-year-old Caleb Hayes displays the mask he worked on at Wiregrass Commons Mall. Troy University Education majors hosted the educational event for children.
