DOTHAN – The annual
Bobby Pierce Troy
University Baseball Camp
swings into action
Wednesday, July 12 in
Dothan. Boys and girls
between the ages of 6
and 13 (grades 1-8) are
invited to participate
in the camp, which will
be held at the Dixie
Youth Complex at
Westgate Park.
During the one-day camp,
Troy University Head
Baseball Coach Bobby
Pierce and his coaching
staff will help campers
improve their hitting,
fielding, catching and
throwing skills.
“We will emphasize basic
fundamentals of the game
of baseball,” Pierce
said. “Each camper will
be able to take home a
better understanding of
these skills and
continue to work on them
for the next season.”
The morning session,
which runs from 8 a.m.
to 11:30 a.m., is
designed for children
ages 6 through 9. From 1
