DOTHAN - The Troy University Creative Writing Club will hold a book signing kickoff on the Dothan Campus Saturday, September 17. Copies of the club’s annual literary collection, the Copper Blade Review, will go on sale for $5 at the event, which will be held at 2 p.m. in Sony Hall. 

Now in its ninth printing, the Copper Blade Review features works from over forty area authors of every age and degree. Featured writers will be on-hand to sign their works and to offer readings. Local artist and Troy University Distance Learning and Web Coordinator Gayle Nelson, who created the cover art for the 2004 edition of the collection, will also give a presentation on creating art for literature.
