Connell Memorial Leadership Scholarship. Alligood plans to major
in biology at Troy University. The Connell Scholarship is a
four-year scholarship, which pays full tuition and fees. The
award is available to undergraduate students on the Dothan
Campus. To qualify, students must exhibit leadership skills and
have a minimum ACT composite score of 22 and a minimum high
school GPA of 3.0.
Vandi
Tye
of Abbeville is the recipient of the Student Affairs
Scholarship. Tye is majoring in finance at Troy University. The
Student Affairs Scholarship is a two-year, half-tuition
scholarship available to currently enrolled undergraduates on
the Dothan Campus. To qualify, students must demonstrate
academic potential and financial need. Applicants must have an
overall college GPA of at least 2.75.
Mia
Pittman of Blakely is the recipient of a Troy University
Dean’s Scholarship. Pittman plans to major in psychology at
the Dothan Campus. The Dean’s Scholarship is a two-year,
half-tuition scholarship available to undergraduates. To
qualify, a student must have a minimum ACT composite score
of 22 and an overall college GPA of at least 3.25.
Wayne
Chamberlin of Ozark is the recipient of the Robert M.
Paul Memorial Scholarship. Chamberlin is majoring in
criminal justice at Troy University. The Paul Scholarship is
a one-year, full-tuition scholarship available to an
undergraduate on the Dothan Campus. To qualify, a student
must have an overall college GPA of at least 3.0. The
recipient of this scholarship must demonstrate financial
need, must be a hard working student and must possess the
highest moral character.

Ashlee Henderson of Ozark
is the recipient of a Broughton W. & Marion R. Connell
Memorial Leadership Scholarship. Henderson plans to major in
marketing at Troy University. The Connell Scholarship is a
four-year scholarship which pays full tuition and fees. The
award is available to undergraduate students on the Dothan
Campus. To qualify, students must exhibit leadership skills.
They must also have a minimum ACT composite score of 22 and
a high school GPA of at least 3.0.

Laura Reagan of Ozark is
the recipient of a Student Affairs Scholarship. Reagan is
majoring in criminal justice at Troy University. The
Student Affairs Scholarship is a two-year, half-tuition
scholarship available to currently enrolled undergraduate
students on the Dothan Campus. To qualify, students must
demonstrate academic potential and financial need. They must
also have an overall college GPA of at least 2.75.

Senetrix Webb-Britt of
Ozark is the recipient of the Jim and Glenda Rose
Scholarship. Webb-Britt is majoring in criminal justice at
Troy University. The Rose Scholarship is a tuition-waiver
scholarship available to students at the Dothan Campus. The
recipient of this scholarship must be a graduate of an
Alabama public school, must have at least a 3.0 average at
graduation from high school and on all college work
completed and must demonstrate financial need.

Valerie McGilberry of
Ft.
Rucker is a recipient of the Ruth Elizabeth LaPointe Milner
Scholarship. McGilberry plans to major in finance at Troy
University. Milner Scholarships are tuition-waiver
scholarships available to mothers, housewives or widows. To
qualify, applicants must be seeking an undergraduate degree
in business at the Dothan Campus, after making careers as
homemakers.
Donna
Cline of
Enterprise is a
recipient of the Broughton W. & Marion R. Connell Memorial
Leadership Scholarship. Cline plans to pursue a master’s degree
in counseling and psychology at Troy University. The graduate
Connell Scholarship is a two-year scholarship which pays 9 hours
of graduate tuition and fees for four semesters at the Dothan
Campus.

Jessica
Goetz of
Enterprise is a recipient of the Broughton W. & Marion R.
Connell Memorial Leadership Scholarship. Goetz plans to
major in elementary education at Troy University. The
Connell Scholarship is a four-year scholarship which pays
full tuition and fees at the Dothan Campus. To qualify,
undergraduate students must exhibit leadership skills and
have a minimum ACT composite score of 22 and a minimum high
school GPA of 3.0.

Melissa
Thompson of
Enterprise is the recipient of the Trojan Pride
Scholarship. Thompson plans to major in early childhood
education at Troy University. The Trojan Pride
Scholarship is available to an incoming freshman at the
Dothan Campus who has no college credit and who
demonstrates leadership potential and a history of
academic excellence.

Angela
Torrez of
Enterprise is the recipient of the Junior College
Transfer Scholarship. Torrez plans to major in
accounting at Troy University. The Junior College
Transfer Scholarship is a two-year, half-tuition
scholarship available to current transfer students
at the Dothan Campus with an overall college GPA of
at least 3.5.

Travis
Cobb
of Hartford is the recipient of the Troy
University Associate Provost Scholarship. Cobb
is majoring in accounting at the Dothan Campus.
The Associate Provost Scholarship is a two-year,
three-fourths tuition scholarship available to
undergraduate students on the Dothan Campus. To
qualify, a student must have a minimum ACT
composite score of 24 and an overall GPA of at
least 3.5.

Sheena
Dorriety
of Hartford is the recipient of the Gulf
South Communications Scholarship. Dorriety
is majoring in marketing at Troy University.
The scholarship was established by Gulf
South Communications which operates three
stations in Dothan, WDJR (Country 96.6),
WESP (Rock 102.5) and WZND (The Beat
105.3). The scholarship is available to a
Dothan Campus student who has a GPA of at
least 2.5. To qualify, a student must be
majoring in management, marketing or
English.

Tonya
Killingsworth of
Slocomb is a
recipient of the Broughton W. & Marion
R. Connell Memorial Leadership
Scholarship. Killingsworth plans to
major in accounting at Troy University.
The Connell Scholarship is a four-year
scholarship which pays full tuition and
fees at the Dothan Campus. The
scholarship is available to
undergraduate students who exhibit
